Signing up with your invite link

Before you start: this takes two accounts

It trips everyone up, so here it is up front. You'll end up with two logins, and they are not the same:

• This portal (FSSP) — your household, who's covered, and billing. You sign in with an emailed link or a passkey. No password.
• Keeper — where your passwords actually live. Separate invitation, separate master password that only you know.

Step 1 — Open your invite link

The link tells us which family you're joining, so it's the only way in — there's no public signup page. If you've lost it, ask whoever invited you for a fresh one.

You'll see the family's name at the top and what it costs per person, so there are no surprises before you commit.

Step 2 — Fill in your household

A few short questions:

• Household name — what your family gets called in the portal, e.g. "The Ronalds".
• Home street number — just the number, never your full address. It's used to name your group inside Keeper so households stay tidy and separate.
• Email and name — yours; this becomes the billing contact.
• How many people — so the right number of Keeper seats is prepared. You're only billed for people who actually get an account, and it can change later.
• Their emails — optional. Add them and everyone gets set up together.

There's also a checkbox to have Keeper set up immediately for a small fee. Skip it and it's set up shortly after, at no charge — it's purely about speed.

Step 3 — Check your email for the portal link

Your household is created and we email you a single-use sign-in link. That's how you get into the portal — there's no password to choose.

• Check spam if it's slow; it comes from no-reply@simple-technologies.net.
• Links expire quickly and work once — always use the newest.
• Once inside, add a passkey so future sign-ins are instant.

Step 4 — Wait for approval (usually quick)

Unless you paid for immediate setup, your Keeper account is created once the administrator approves your household. You don't have to do anything — you'll get the Keeper invitation by email when it's ready.

In the meantime you can already sign in to the portal and set up billing.

Step 5 — Accept your Keeper invitation

When the Keeper invitation arrives (from Keeper Security, not from us), open it and create your account. This is the important one:

• Choose a master password you use nowhere else. Keeper's design means nobody can recover it — not Keeper, not Simple Technologies, not the person who invited you.
• Write it down once, offline, and keep it somewhere physical.
• Turn on two-factor authentication straight away.
