Claiming your free Family License

When your household's Family License is active, every covered member can claim a free personal Keeper Family plan — five private vaults for your own household, completely separate from the family-managed account.

What you get

A full Keeper Family plan (5 personal vaults + 10GB secure storage) at no extra cost, for your personal accounts — spouse, kids, personal email. It's separate from this portal's managed account: different login, your own private space, nobody in the family system can see it.

Use a personal email address for it — not the email on your family-managed seat.

How to claim it

Redemption happens inside your own Keeper vault — it's tied to your account, so only you can do it:

Sign in to the Keeper Web Vault with your family-managed account.
Open the account menu (your email, top-right) → Settings.
Look for “Free Family Plan” and follow the prompt — enter the personal email you want the Family plan under.
Check that personal inbox and finish creating the Family plan account.

Don't see the Free Family Plan option yet? It can take a little while to appear after your license is enabled — if it's not there after a day, ask us from Support and we'll sort it with Keeper.

House rules

The Family License rides on your household's paid seat — if the seat lapses or is removed, the personal Family plan attached to it eventually deactivates too. Your personal vault data stays exportable; nothing is deleted without warning.
